The Spring Race Amity Day Planning Workshop was tremendous success attracting eighty plus people from six states representing fifty-one cities and towns. The four hour planning session was organized to assist cities and towns in developing ideas and providing resources for programs and activities for Race Amity Day 2018 and future years. Four organizations collaborated with the National Center for Race Amity (NCRA) on the event. They were the American Jewish Committee (New England), the Massachusetts Conference of the United Church of Christ, the Regional Baha’i Council for the Northeast, and YW Boston.

The following Massachusetts towns were represented Arlington, Boston, Brockton, Cambridge, Carlisle, Chicopee, Concord, Dorchester, Foxboro, Framingham, Holyoke, Hull, Lexington, Lincoln, Lynnfield, Malden, Manchester, Marlborough, Mashpee, Melrose, Natick, Needham, North Andover, Sherborn, Sudbury, Waltham, Watertown, Wayland, and Wilbraham. Representatives attending from cities and towns in other states were Bridgeport, CT, East Hartford, CT, Manchester, CT, Plainfield, CT, South Windsor, CT, Windsor, CT, Portland, ME, Concord, NH, East Kingston, NH, Franklin, NH, Portsmouth, NH, Seabrook, NH, Albany NY, East Patchogue, NY, Greenwich, NY, Huntington, NY, Ithaca, NY, Lincolndale, NY, Factoryville, PA
