National Race Amity Conference
The National Center for Race Amity is pleased to announce the Call for Proposals for Presenters at the 2023 National Race Amity Conference.
Dates: November 9-11, 2023
Location: Atlanta Westin Airport Hotel
Conference Theme: “Race Amity: Moving from Concept to Action”
The concept of Race Amity has been around for more than a century, and many people understand it to be a cross-racial, collaborative methodology for approaching racial healing. But how practical is it? Can we really use this approach to address real world organizational and societal challenges? Is it too “soft” to address the difficult trials that we face today?
Our focus this year will be on exactly that challenge: creating cultures in organizations and society that use Amity as a strategic approach. We are seeking presentations that show how Race Amity can be a strategic tool for creating a greater sense of belonging and inclusion within organizations. Presentations should focus on this methodology and explore specific means of translating it into real life actions. What are the strategies that you use to apply Race Amity? What are the challenges? We want presentations to address real world application of the tools of Race Amity and the processes involved.
