Don Mullan is an award-winning investigative journalist, filmmaker, photographer and concept developer. He has notably interviewed Miss Rosa Parks, Mother Teresa, Sr. Helen Prejean and Pele, and secured support of the late Congressman John Lewis on an initiative related to Frederick Douglass’s visit to Ireland in 1845. Mullan is the first non-American recipient of the NCRA Medal of Honor.
He received the Defender of Human Dignity Award from the International League for Human Rights. Mullan is a consultant to the United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification and an Executive Producer of the documentary, The Great Green Wall. Mullan supported South Africa’s faith communities in the struggle to end Apartheid, and is currently supporting efforts of the Tutu family on intititaves addressing the damage of colonial domination to the African psyche.ed settings.
