These historical examples of interracial and multiracial cooperation\, harmony and amity are lessons we can draw on to foster racial amity in contemporary America. The documentary was broadcast nationally on public television stations in 2019 and 2020. The film will be followed by a facilitated dialogue circle.\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Monday Jan 19\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Annual King Day March and Rally\n1:15 to 4:00 pm\nMore info: www.mlkmarchatl.com \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Coffee and Cocoa at the Baha’i Center\n2:30 pm\nOur neighbors at the Atlanta Baha’i Center (379 Edgewood Ave.) will offer free coffee and cocoa after the King Day March. \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Race Amity Festival\, 4-6:30 pm\nClick on graphic below for more info.
