DESCRIPTION:Celebrate Race Amity Day in Atlanta!\nThis free\, public event at Atlanta’s new Race Amity Institute offers an opportunity to reflect together on race\, democracy\, and civic belonging as our nation approaches its 250th anniversary. In this time of deep social division\, learn how the century-long Race Amity Movement sheds light on America’s founding ideals\, the barriers that have impeded interracial friendships\, and the possibilities for building stronger communities across lines of race. The program will include live music\, refreshments\, and children’s activities.  \nAlso join us on June 19 for the Riders for Race Amity Presentation and Roundtable\, part of our “America at 250: A Race Amity Perspective” event series.
