April 5\, 3:00-4:30 pm Eastern\nJoin us on Saturday April 5 for an engaging and inspiring virtual presentation on “Pioneering Race Amity: Key Takeaways from Illinois.” Jim Percic and Bette Lawrence-Water\, co-chairs of Illinois Citizens for Race Amity\, will share how their efforts to promote race amity have flourished in Illinois\, with Race Amity Day proclamations in the Illinois State House and Senate\, as well as county and municipal proclamations and picnics and gatherings to celebrate Race Amity Day in several cities and towns across the state. \nThe presentation will be followed by Q&A and sharing of plans and ideas for celebrating Race Amity Day in 2025! \nHope to see you there!
