SUMMARY:2027 Riders for Race Amity
DESCRIPTION:The 2027 Riders for Race Amity youth cycling initiative will once again follow the trail of the Civil Rights Freedom Riders from Washington DC to Jackson MS\, from June 12 to 27\, 2027. \nThis powerful journey on two wheels brings cyclists together to promote unity\, understanding\, and meaningful conversations about race. This long-distance ride is more than just a test of endurance—it’s a movement dedicated to bridging racial divides through dialogue\, education\, and shared experiences. \nAs they travel from city to city\, riders will engage with local communities\, visit historical landmarks\, and participate in discussions centered around race amity—the belief that friendship and collaboration across racial lines are key to a more just society. Through their shared miles\, they aim to spark awareness\, inspire action\, and foster lasting connections. \nLearn more and get involved at Riders4RaceAmity.org \nPlease consider making a donation to support this initiative using this form. Thank you for your generosity!
