Dr. Meccouri is an educator, and organizational development consultant serving business, healthcare, and educational organizations. With over 30 years of teaching and leadership experience at the community college, undergraduate, and graduate level, she is the recipient of two Endowed Chairs for Teaching Excellence and is highly respected for her creative approaches to leadership and positive change. Her research “Making It: Resilience Against the Odds”
examines the resilience and success for low-income, first generation college students. Dr. Meccouri continues her work with higher education to design programs that transform lives and is grateful for the opportunity to serve the National Center for Race Amity.
