Marjan Yavari is an entrepreneur, an investor and a member of the Baha’i Faith with a passion for philanthropy, who strives personally and professionally toward community building efforts focused on racial healing and amity. Marjan was born in Iran, and then became a refugee and immigrant after escaping religious persecution, making Georgia her home since 1993. Her passion for community has been diverse from owning a bakery, starting an educational Augmented Reality App, to later becoming an Angel investor. Her current focus is developing the complex, Be On Edgewood, in the historical MLK district. The complex will be the home for the National Race Amity Institute, among other organizations focusing on empowering and unifying our communities.
