Celebrate Race Amity Day in Atlanta!

This free, public event at Atlanta’s new Race Amity Institute offers an opportunity to reflect together on race, democracy, and civic belonging as our nation approaches its 250th anniversary. In this time of deep social division, learn how the century-long Race Amity Movement sheds light on America’s founding ideals, the barriers that have impeded interracial friendships, and the possibilities for building stronger communities across lines of race. The program includes live music, refreshments, and a children’s activity.
