Ann Landry

Ann Landry has spent the last thirty years fighting for social justice and women’s rights. She is currently focused on NCRA’s effort to establish a “National Race Amity Day” celebrating cross-racial friendship across the country. Ann has been active in NCRA since 2010. She was an Advisory Board member for her town’s METCO Program and Diversity Network for nearly 30 years. Ann also worked with the organization “Social Justice for Women” inside MCI Framingham supporting incarcerated mothers.

This evolved into working with and successfully fighting for the 1993 release of the “Framingham Eight,” eight abused women serving long sentences for killing their batterers.
