Race Amity Day is celebrated on the second Sunday in June, which falls on June 8 this year. Dozens of localities across the nation celebrate Race Amity Day in a wide variety of creative ways, including community fairs and picnics; exhibits, film screenings and talks in community centers and public libraries; and municipal, county, and state-level proclamations.
To learn more, join us on Saturday April 5 for a virtual presentation on “Pioneering Race Amity: Key Takeaways from Illinois.” The session will include time for Q&A and sharing plans and ideas from local activists from across the country. REGISTER HERE.
