NCRA’s television programs partner, WHS Media Productions LLC, reports that production is underway for the half hour series of five programs for public television. Projected to begin airing on MLK King Day 2021, the series, American Stories – Race Amity and The Other Tradition will offer new stories that present the power of cross racial/cross cultural friendships in American history that impacted advances in access, equity, and social justice. The lead one hour documentary for the half hour series is presently airing on public television stations across the nation through November 2020. The program, An American Story: Race Amity and The Other Tradition aired at broadcast time decided by local public television stations.
