The Tearing Down The Walls Conference Organizers Annouced Expansion In Wake Of Successful Second Annual Conference In Nashville.

The Tearing Down The Walls (TDTW) South Eastern Conference on Race and Leadership becomes model for regional conferences focusing on independent schools. The 2019 conference drew students and advisors from twenty-three independent schools from the southeast in a spirited conference in Nashville Tennessee, June 21-23. https://www.tearingdownwalls.org

After a second successful year of gathering advisors and students from independent schools in the southeast for a two day conference focusing on developing leadership to bridge the racial divide, TDTW organizers announced that it will be expanding the conference concept to other regions of the nation in 2020. Notably, TDTW will offer a Northeast conference in May of 2020 and a Southwest in August of 2020.

Details of both conferences will be announced in September. The National Center for Race Amity is a collaborating partner in the Tearing Down The Walls Conference on Race and Leadership.
