Second annual Boston Race Amity Arts and Music Fest shines despite the rain

The 2023 BRAAM Fest, held at Faneuil Hall Marketplace on Saturday July 29, was a joyful, impactful and family-friendly festival in the heart of Boston, where thousands danced and celebrated despite a few rain showers that moved through the area during the afternoon.

Co-headliners Cara Brindisi from the Voice and Zili Misik, opening musical acts, art vendors, a unity art project, and free ice cream from Ben & Jerry’s Boston kept the audience engaged and coming back for more throughout the afternoon. A steady stream of people came by the Race Amity tent to sign a petition in favor of making Race Amity Day a federally recognized commemorative day on the second Sunday in June.
